I could stay at home and play video games.

I liked all of the marvel movies (sans blade 3 and electra)

Well, in my opinion, your logic here's rather silly. They couldn't have done any other way than cgi and have it look right. You're right though, the movie wasn't good, but the cgi definitely was, at least.
And Spidey stopping the train was more inpressive. Hulk threw a tank, so what? He's the Hulk, he's suppose to do that. Spider-Man, on the other hand, shredded his body trying to stop a speeding train. I don't know how heavy it was, but add that and the speed it was moving, and that's no easy feat, even for Spidey.

You thought that was actually Tobey Maguire swinging around New York...?

The CGI could have been better, but there was no other way than CGI for the Hulk.
Spider-Man's deed was more impressive.

That is why spiderman appeals to most, its the fact that he doesn't have all the powers and answers, but keeps trying.

i prefer lou ferrigno, bill bixby, and some poignant piano music.

Yea those were the days.

I would say movie hulk looked far better than movie spidey. The scenes in which spiderman was cgi looked so ridiculously fake, but the hulk did look like a turd too.
jacobo0o
i wan to say something else
spider man walking down the street then tripping
vs.
banner meets his dad and his dad try to get him mad but when Bruce says NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! his dad says NAAAAHHH YYYEAAENNNG
i think bruce dad was funnier then peter

Ok Movie Spider-Man and Hulk vs Comic Book Version
BobbyD
Hulk movie was okay. But, Spidey blew it away.
Was nice to have Jennifer Connolly in the Hulk to counter Dunst for eye candy.
Spiderkid515
the hulk had good CGI but really bad storyline n 2 long. spiderman 2 was much better
grey fox
No the problem is that everyone wants hulk to go on a constant rampage every minute in the film , so when we get a hulk film without constant destruction (eg a plot) people get pissed off
Mindship
Tough call. Overall, Spiderman was the better movie, and watchin him swing around NY was very very cool. Hulk movie? Coulda been better, but those battle scenes were also very very cool. Since I am inclined toward the more powerful types, my vote goes for Hulk vs military. But again, this is a very very tough call. Hmm. Kinda like this: Spiderman swinging was awe-inspiring; Hulk fighting tanks and copters and jets was just plain awesome.
Red Superfly
Spider-Man.
I'm biased (I like Spider-Man more than Hulk anyway). Even then I think Spider-Man is better and more faithful to the comics, even despite the odd change.
Hulk just took too long to get going. The pacing was a little off. I'm all for plot, (I loved Batman Begins more than any comic film so far and that was a slow burner too) but damn Hulk took a while to get going. And, to be honest, I went to see lots of HULK SMASH. It was nice seeing Bruce being all sweet and defiant, and Betty looking all sympathetic and lovely, but COME ON! GET WITH THE SMASHY!
Hulk didn't even have a gamma bomb. WHY?
who?-kid
Bruce Banner in the Hulk-movie was the most boring guy ever seen on the screen. I really really really don't know why somebody fell in love with him, he was sooooooo boring.
Oh yeah, the movie was not that bad, but nowhere as good as Spider-Man.
K3VIL
Shortly, Spidey is a hero of the people.
Hulk is a disturbed kid who grow up into a disturbed man who turns into a giant monster with his child attitude

Oh yeah, the movie was not that bad, but nowhere as good as Spider-Man. I belive that the thoughts of the movies were consistent.
Spiderman wasn't all action, but his story is simply MUCH better.
Mr Parker
Since these are the choices to choose from, got to go with spiderman.Thats about the only good thing in that crapfest movie was the part of him stopping the train. They were both crapfest movies and NEITHER were loyal to the comics.Bring back the old Hulk tv show with Bill Bixby. That show was a 100 times better than either of thse phony neautered versions.

The Hulk movie was overdone. Spidey doesn't have all theat detail and still looks better. Also the story Line was Crap on the Hulk. Spidey I think was the Best Marvel Movie tto Exist, then DareDevil! Someone said about there Being no other way to do the Hulk other than CG, but remember the old Hulk series, they used a real man (Body Builder Lou Ferrigno) and that happened to be extremely succesful . Nearly every Family in Britain watched the one friday Nights.

I didn't like the spiderman movies. I thought toby was a choch and the spiderman character overall is pretty weak. of course we all got our shortcomings and strentghs but this retard takes it to the extreme of both sides. Schizo! Not to say that Hulk doesn't have problems, but that is almost out of banners control whereas parker lives with his powers day in day out.
Any comic made into a movie I wont see in any theater. Please don't try to insult me for this statement. It's only my own view. You are free to ask me why I feel this way, though.

Hello Hello anyone Alive ?
the Hulk Was Painstakely Long and took an hour for the Guy to turn into the hulk. Spider-man Acctualy moved with the story and did not drag its feet, U Spent an hour watching the Hulk Run Away From the Army which Was pretty annoying.
severance
hulks my favourite character in comicdom but spiderman 2 was a better movie a by a country mile.
I liked the Hulk movie becasue they attempted plot and character development but:
problems with hulk movie - made hulk just too damn big should stopped at 10 foot. this is not frickin green king kong. a 15 foot giant tossing a tank is not nearly as impressive as a 7-10 foot giant.
absorbing man fight was a little obscure. what the hell happened at the end is a whole nother not very interesting thread.
Spiderman 2 just rocked funny, moving excting. And the stopping the train was all the more impressive because how balls out it was
Ultimate Hulk43
I think the main reason people didn't like the Hulk movie was because it had a plot and wasn't just about Bruce Banner turning into the Hulk and wrecking everything. The Hulk isn't all about that and besides, this was an origin story so it needed to have a plot.I'm hoping that the next one has a plot too and isn't just ALL about the Hulk because then the movie would be VERY boring. The movie was great and I have no problems with it but the Spider-Man movies were better.

Comic Spider-Man:
Funny, pulling out one-liners left and right.
Movie Spider-Man:
Boring obsessive stalker.
Ultimate Hulk43
I don't see why some people don't like the Spider-Man movies, they didn't change much and the things they did change were great changes,at least that's what I think.
Lucid Lui
I dunno why people didn't like the Hulk movie. I seem to be one of the few who thought it was good. Had a good story, good acting and good cgi. Overall an entertaing movie, and i'm hoping there's a second.
And seeing Hulk in action like that. Looked amazing.
Ultimate Hulk43
I totally agree with you.
gladiator69
some parts of the hulk movie was ok most of it was boring though. but out of all the marvel comic book movies made id say spiderman 2 is the best so far more entertainment and action going on in the movie then hulk. still waiting for fantastic 4 to come out on video that movie kicks ass to
Ultimate Hulk43
I haven't seen it yet but I think it may be better than both SM-1 and SM-2.
