To put on weight is simple.
Use proteins for muscle and carbs for energy (consume early in the day).
Begin excercising with weights. I never used weights,but you sound like you want to gain weight, and not lose fat.
Do few reps with lots of weight to gain mass, and lots of reps with low weights to lose fat and gain definition.
