new characters could be DNAngels (explaination below) but then you'd have to provide a small history and alternate profile for them. example (daisuke/dark):

history: the niwa family curse is that any male member, when he turns 14, starts transforming into the legendary phantom theif Dark. as dark, they steal valuable artwork made by the hikari. the curse is triggered by feelings of love and until the cursed is able to get the one he loves to love him/dark, dark and the cursed must learn to coexist.

definition of DNAngels:

DNAngels, like i said before, are ppl who have a specific genetic code which causes them to transform into another self when placed in certain circumstances (ie: feeling love, caring about another, etc.) this curse is often passed down in families. some DNAngels are well know, such as Dark(theif), others are not. the cursed families often try to get rid of the curse as soon as possible, this is because some DNAngels are dangerous, taking control and not caring about their tamer's health. Others accept this curse and often use it to there advantage (ie. the Niwas).

well, it's like a school plot with a back story. so while ppl are doing there regular stuff and going around an talking, dark is stealing stuff, krad and satoshi are trying to stop him, risa is fall ing for dark, daisuke is having trouble at school and home, along those lines. actually, it's quite a broad topic.

a kaitoh and it's DNAngel are two different ppl. so you create two different parts. here is an example:

you got most of it right. occupation would be what your character does for a living. trigger is an emotion e.g. my character turns into his DNAngel with anger. type would be the name of your other character.

Not sure how old this thread is, but just so you know, "kaitou" does not mean tamer. Dark is the "kaitou"; it means phantom thief. Satoshi is the opposite of a kaitou.
Not to be rude or anything, though. It just confused me a lot with the whole kaitou/tamer insert and stuff.
