I agree. If you are going to Thanking God, you have to have music that God would approve of. 🙂

💃 💃 💃 💃 💃 Yeah, you got what i was trying to say

I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
- Leonard Cohen, but way better with Jeff Buckley

so what music does this god of yours approve of, and how do you know that

^ Seems I've heard that somewhere....Lol

Need more examples.....me just woke up.....

Lust music why do you sing lust but say im a good christian, Im not saying music is a sin im not saying listening to Lust music is a Sin Im talking about when the artist say thank you god for giving me so much talent, but to me it sounds like thank you God for letting me write my Lust and share it with people

Many Christian bands couldn't make it in the secular band world, so they went Christian....

artists can say god in their songs, thank god, whatever.

if you are refering to god as in god up in the sky, you should write God, with uppercase capital, god in lowercase is okay as it does not refer to god in the sky, know what i am trying to say???

Hi Evanescence

I use this format of God and god all the time, but I think that most people don't get it. 🙂

You'll find that most of my use of the term "GOD" is written in all lowercase type. To use the capital style is to imply that I give this notion some measure of legitimacy. Since I do not, I spell god...god.

As for the question at hand, I agree totally. Do not profess to be given gifts of fame and wealth by god, and then write a song about ****ing whores and shooting thugs in the ghetto, all on the way home from buying a bag of crack.

Likewise. I'll continue to refer to god in the manner that conforms to my views rather than someone else's.

As for the music thing, I don't really care what they say.

Well many find it offensive to thank their God, the creator for slutty music...I can see their point.....They feel it's blasphemous and vile because their God loves even them.....It's a different world for Christians.....For them it would be like a song about your mother, the one you love and making it slutty and then thanking god for it....
