Who do you think would be found "worthy"?
freezedoom
Superman
Starfire
Hulk
BlaqChaos
Hulk? You think Hulk would be found "worthy" to weild the hammer?
olympian
I wouldnt bet on it.
Superman cant either.
Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman are two sure bets.
BlaqChaos
Wow, I though Superman would be a sure bet for this. What about Captain America?
Draco69
Superman doesn't have a warrior's spirit. Which is required.
I think Captain America already lifted the hammer.
Draco69
The hammer weighs about 50 pounds. Doop however noble he may be would break both his arms trying to lift it.

olympian
Yeah these three are sure bets.
Captain Marvel
Wonder Woman (who already did for all porpuses)
Captain America (who actually did in Marvel continuity)
8bitChris
Doop could lift 50 pounds with a pinky.
Doop is high Class 100 in strength.
Draco69
That green booger couldn't lift his own ass off the ground!

8bitChris
Obviously you know nothing about Doop!
Doop went head to head with Thor! Mjolnir did nothing to him! He absorbed it and threw a bunch back at Thor!
And showed how strong he was in the battle too.
Sentry
Here's Superman trying to lift it:

Seems to he isn't worthy...

That was crap I say!
Doop is really a yeast infection spawned by U-Go-Girl

BlaqChaos
Was that from the JLA/Avengers crossover?
8bitChris
Doop has godlike speed, intelligence, strength and everything...All his handbook stats are 7+!
He didn't display most of it in the comics. But you know he was always up to something.
Doop is one of the strongest characters in the Marvel U!
Scoobless
wtf is Doop anyway?

Bah! Thy Handbook speaks foul lies. Doop is merely a foul concoction of yeast and tight pants

"History: (X-Statix#21 (fb) - BTS) - Towards the end of the Cold War, Doop was constructed during what was called the "Doop Project." Upon its construction, Doop had a hand in the falling of the Berlin Wall. "

All the Doop info you need right there. And if you havn't read the end of X-Force/X-Statix series then I highly recommend you read it. Awesome comic. Mutants who were accepted by humans and became pop stars. However, their cast was sent on missions with high death rates. The original X-Statix were practically all dead after the first mission. Then they all ended up dying eventually. Doop lives though! Go read it if you havn't lol.

"According to the Marvel Encyclopedia Vol. 2: X-Men, Doop profile, Doop's powers were maxed out, as seen on their "power ratings" chart. He never displayed any of these godlike abilities, with the exception of superhuman strength. His intelligence, strength, speed, durability, energy projection, and fighting skills were all rated at a number 7, which equals out to omniscient intelligence, incalculable strength in excess of 100 tons, speed that transcends light speed, virtual indestructibility, an unlimited command of all forms of energy, and a master of all forms of combat, respectively. Given that Doop punched Thor to the ground, it is possible that it also possessed the intelligence, speed, durability, and energy projection on the level that it was ranked, but never showed them."
GalacticStorm
Storms done it in a what if.

Bah! Doop wrote such vile lies. He means to trick us so he can infect us all with painful crabbies!

8bitChris
I smell a Respect Doop thread....
(Bah...that's alot of work :P)
Draco69
Bah! Thy respect thread would only have five pictures.

8bitChris
Not if it's a "Respect Doop's Camera and Levitating Skills" thread.
Draco69
Aye. Then the thread will reach at least 30 pages.

Wasn't she being prepped to become the new Thunder Goddess in that X-Men in Asgard storyline in the 80's? I think she lifted it.
The story also stated Northstar and sister Aurora descended from elves of Asgard, or something.
These four, for sure:
Beta Ray Bill
Captain America
Captain Marvel/Shazam
Wonder Woman
Maybe the Silver Surfer. Or Guardian(DC)? He's a Cap clone.
Possibly Namor.
8bitChris
Doop is TOAA. He'll lift the hammer easily.
Draco69
The elves thing was proven to be false since it was all a trick of Loki's deception.
And it was offensive for a gay man to descend from a literal fairy.

Well, what do you know - there was some precedent when Jeph Loeb concocted his Thor vs. Rulk story!
I saw my five year old post above. I retract Namor as a candidate (no offense.)
One of the great curiosities would be if Black Adam could lift it. If he's worthy to wield powers granted by Shazam - despite his views on lethal force - then...
