There's this new rule at school that your shirts have to end at least 4 inches below your waist. Reasonable rule, I suppose. If your shirt is too short or shows skin, you have to wear a shirt that the office provides. Well, today I was wearing this and a teacher in the hall said my shirt was too short and then she escorted me to the office to get a shirt to cover me up. WTF?!

Apparently I misunderstood the rule. It's not 4 inches below your waist. It's 4 inches below your belt line. Who owns shirts that long? And there's no way I'm going out to buy new shirts just to comply to some ridiculous rule.

O.O wow... i was looking at it and i just happened to look at the top of the pic <_< anyways... thats what the school said for us too lol... but the girls have to wear skirts that are lieto their knees and I was like "WTF ARE YOU GUYS GAY OR SOMETHING?!" and... I was kicked out of school for a day ^_^

I want to get a bunch of people and do a silent protest by wearing the same over-sized shirt everyday. When teachers and people ask us why we're wearing the same shirt everyday we'll just say we can't afford another shirt that complies with the dress code rule. lol

A couple of my friends had a contest one year during finals at the end of the year to see who could get away with breaking the dress code the most and not get in trouble

I'm so glad I'm done with high school and don't have to worry about my shirt being too short or my skirt being to short or whatever....

I think the dress code rule is kind of sexist. It's directed mainly towards girls even though there are a ton of guys who wear tight pants half way down their ass exposing their boxers. They also wear undersized shirts and you can see their backs all the time and the vice-principals don't give a shit. It's f***ing retarded.

Our principals don't give a damn about the shirts, but they definitely find the pants-butt-draggers annoying.
