Simon Wiesenthal dies

chances are most of you wont know the name...but Simon Wiesenthal is a genuine hero

in the wake of the second world war he helped track down over 1000 nazi party members including the mastermind of the final solution...Adolf Eichmann

we can only hope that we wont need anyone else like him

Saw this on the news. Quite sad - his legacy will live on though through the Simon Wiesenthal Centre.

Incredibly sad, however and as many opf you will know I have strong feelings on this subject. I think the recent "war criminals" brought to task is a little sad, I take no pleasure in watching very old men pay for things they did more than 60 years ago. Time to forgive but not forget the lessons learned.
