Thank you for providing for a special part of my childhood with the original trilogy. You have mentioned that you are not satisfied with Episode V and VI. I think it is wrong to modify the special effects in any way. It is more impressive to look back and see them in their original form taking into account the antiquated special-effects techniques available at the time. Please clarify why Vader never became more powerful than Sidious. Sidious told Yoda in Episode 3 that Vader would. Vader also has a higher midichlorian count even after the kyber crystal. George Lucas: I understand why some of you don’t want me changing the old films. You are nostalgic for what seems familiar, but you need to understand that the films represent my artistic vision. As an artist, I have the right to modify my films in the ways that I see best. Improvements need to be made to the old films so that I can finally be proud of them. The old films don’t hold up well when compared to the prequel trilogy. I will continue to change and update the old films for the rest of my life.
I think you are mistaken about Vader. In fact, Vader does become more powerful than Sidious. However, Vader lacks the confidence to attack and destroy Sidious. For some reason, Vader believes that Luke Skywalker needs to join him so that together they can destroy Sidious. I believe that Sidious has Vader psychologically intimidated into not challenging Sidious. It’s all mental
