ok look i play warcraft and i got a windows xp.when i host it lags alot like crazy.i got a router and unplug it why is it still laggin it never did this before the router.some guy said to open port 6112-6119 if u know a step by step thing pls tell me cuz i really suck with comps i mean i know nuthing.or if i need to do something different pls tell me how. thank you if u do

Ports 6112-6119 aren't actually used, according to the table here: http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~rakerman/port-table.html

It may be that the guy who told you to open them is trying to slip you a virus.
