Before Punisher...Before Batman...there was The Shadow. One of Bat's inspirations, actually. A ruthless hunter of evil, excellent at h2h and weapons - favours the Uzi. Telepathic abilities to read and cloud minds; can be standing in a room and not be seen because of his abilities, plus some possible telekinesis. Laughs maniacally when he vanquishes evil by killing someone. It is NOT overkill to bring both Batman and Punisher against him. But can they succeed?

Not without prep-time. Preferably one-sided prep-time. Most folks here know I'm a fan of the Punisher, but the Shadow takes it to a whole new level, and aside from his insane telepathic abilities and telekinesis, he's also pretty slick with guns himself.

He technically operates like a street-leveler, but he's really higher than that.

Yes...not to mention he has a huge number of agents working for him everywhere - at street level, goverment, law enforcement, scientists - all normal people who give their allegiance to him, giving him info and backup. He would be the King of prep!

^^^^So does Batman, and his even goes beyond governments and also Batman can be standing in a room and not be seen, even by Superman, who can see to the Source Wall and hear interplanetary.
