I broke my computer....It's in a loop it says its starting up but it never gets to the welcome screen it just restarts itself. It's never done this before and I don''t know how it got this way.... I have important files and things I need to print on there and I need my computer since I just entered high school. WTF is wrong with it? Please offer assistance. I won't be on until wensday. Thanks all....

I had this once before, yerss his solution worked fine with me. I just put it in a second HD, and I moved all my stuff, then I formatted.

Thats what recently happened to me...its a dodgey hardrive if you get it repaired they can save the files you need and import them to a different hardrive

I had this. when starting up click F5 constantly until it somes up with a blue screen. select hotfix or safe mode and that would reboot it. unfortunatly the files will be lost and you will have to start over again. make sure you have your program and file disks

If your computer isn't that old you should be able to use the restore disks without deleteing your hard drive.... Its called "non-distructive restore"

Do what I do, disconnect all the leads, and put them back again.
Just remember where they actually came from smile.
