The songs I d/l from LimeWire won't go into my Music playlist. How do I put them in it?

Most programs can only play certain audio formats.

What is a format? Is there I a way where I can copy the songs and put them on my playlist?

....format, as in the file format, as in if it's MP3 or WMA or WAV or OGG....

And I don't know, it'd be helpful to know what player you're using, first of all.

What I have to do is copy the files I want to the desktop, and then import them into itunes...

Who cares about playlists, as long you can double click the file and listen to music, why does anything else matter?

Cuzz if I accidentally delete LimeWire I can't listen to the songs any more

its because there in a .m3u format. open them up and click file> save as. and save it as an mp3 or a proper file format then that should solve the problem

How do I do that?

Select the files you want, go to Edit > Copy, go to another folder, Edit > Paste.

It's actually just because you're opening them with Limewire.
Go to your Limewire folder, usually CLimewire\Shared or something
Then just doube clikc them or drag and drop them to a different place.

Still don't work

Save them all to your computer first, convert them to mp3 if you have to and try playing them in Windows Media Player.

Their already MP3, but they don't play on Windows Media Player
