DaRk Jester
My father is a stereotypical American. He is white, owns alot of guns, conservative, racist, and believes in conspiracy theories. When he hears these theories he is pretty gullible and accepting of them. but when i try to tell him how illogical they are he defends them as if he is as enlightened as Buddha himself. the conspiracy theories that he believes in are:

1: alien re-engineering--he believes that aliens are the cause for the technology(computer chips, kevlar jackets, microscopic threads, etc, etc.) we have today since the Roswell landings.

2:Moon landing hoax --he believes that we never made it to the moon. that the whole thing is a hoax. he keeps going on about how the Hubble telescope is never used to prove the existence of the first lunar landing.

people I'm on my knees here. i need your help to convince that he is f*cking moron that has no idea what he is talking about and instead of actually doing his research he takes whatever the Hitler channel(the history channel, Ive lost all respect towards them) feeds him.

so please help me!

Okay, here's a radical concept player..

Stop giving a shit..

Seriously, wether his ideas are ludacris or not. How does it effect you? Does he embaress you in public? Does he put you or someone you care about indanger? If not, get over it.. He's your father, he loves you, and he has to get up and go to work like the rest of us. You'll understand become "enligthend" too when your ass has to work, pay bills, and deal with young people..

ermgee thanks for the helpful comment, appreciate it.

as a matter of fact he tells this stuff all the time to guests and co workers. its sad and embarrassing really. and plus im getting tired of him always flaunting lies and presenting it as fact. if you had to deal with it all these years im pretty sure you would get annoyed too.

Alpha Centauri
The moon landing one is actually one of the few conspiracies that can be genuinely backed on both sides, in my opinion.

You obviously have never met my father, who is so increddibly stupid he called Buddhism Voodoo..

He is also so ignorant, I was able to get him to vote for George Bush last election by telling him a little white lie that Bush loves poker and was going to help loosen the leash our goverment puts on casino gambeling. Natturaly he heard the word poker and fell right into my trap. I was able to convince 10 people this way, and 6 other people using reverse psychology.

Alpha Centauri
Of course you could have used Bush's great presidential potential and policies to convince peo....oh...wait.
