I was about to give this game a low rating, but I decided to do some research on it first and do you know what. I had forgotten all about this game, because when this game first came out, I think I was kind of interested in playing it, but I must have forgotten all about it and the title. I was thinking Eternal darkness was a first person shooter or stealth game or something,lol.
Anyway, I wish I had gotten this game.

and yea eternal darkness rocks. i got it for about $10 and it was well worth more than that. i'm on my third time playing through it to see the real ending.

PC all the way and RPGs mainly:

Planescape: Torment - really intense experience with good dialogue and feeling
Baldur's Gate 2 - Very good and vast fantasy rpg
Knights of the Old Republic - If you're into Star Wars you're into this game
Deus Ex - Combines 3D action with good storytelling and makes it work
Fable (Lost Chapters) - Good music, immersive world and feeling

It was on the PC.

And it had SNES quality graphics and full-voice acting.

It came out in 1990 and has influenced basically every RPG ever made because it was so awesome.
