You are Nick Fury. You are gonna hire a mecernary team from the list below to preform tasks like assainat supervillains, save or kill prisoners and or hostages etc etc. The catch is you are only allowed to hire 5 mercs. 4 have to be from the list below and 1 has to be a merc of your choice. The merc you choose yourself must be a feasible merc, not someone like Galactus or Thor or Spider-man cos they simply wouldn't join............

Why? All of these people could be relied on to fulfill their contract, whether it's rescue or assassination. The other characters are either too heroic (like Batman and his related characters) or too unpredictable and unreliable (like Sabretooth and Deadpool.)

1. Jubilee (after showing some quick thinking in GEN-X)
2. Michelangelo (due to his espionage skill)
3. Nova (after showing some Impressive Power)
4. Robin III (after showing Kick ass Hand to Hand)
5. Black Cat (Espionage skill and Quite a popular character Sales people)

cool but isnt Nova a bit too powerful to be a feasible merc.


Black cat is a brilliant idea though

-Deathstroke
At least Class 15 tons of strenght, superhuman agility, reflexes, speed, precog, regenerative powers, immortality.
His skills in fighting, planning, tactics and as hth fighter and marksman with weapons are unmatched.

-DeadPool
Peak human physical skills, regeneration immortality, a sort of depowered Deathstroke who makes fun watching him killing people.

-Sabretooth
He's around Class 30 tons of strenght(if not more), his physical threats are all at superhuman, he can regenerate from almost any attack, and he has adamantium skeleton and claws.

-Kane
Strong as Sabretooth if not more, he has Spider-Man powers to a higher degree, plus he can make wall or enviroment collapse through making weak the molecular structure of objects.This guy walked through an assemble of energy weapons which covered the area of the entire roof of a skyscraper like it was a walk in the park.

-Agent Zero
Another great product of Weapon X.
Kinetic energy absorption, kinetic energy blasts, corrosive touch and blasts, peak human physical threats, can enhance them through his energy absorption powers, he has a vibranium suit, firepower sufficient to make Frank Castle think there's someone nuts as him around, plus he uses adamantium bullets and an adamantium knife.
Another master fighter and tactician.

This team would stomp the New Avengers and then get down to Iron Man or Sentry.

Black cat is a brilliant idea though yes but he's an excellent Team player

Thanks to Benito's suggestion, if I amde a team, I would probably put Black Cat in it...............

Assuming everyone on the list was willing to kill:
Deadpool
Daredevil
Deathstroke
Batgirl
Blink- Her powerset means she could even take out top tier threats.

Deathstroke is a pretty good strategist so I'd make him leader. Blink would be short range transport and, like I said, big gun for high level threats. Batgirl, Daredevil and Deadpool would be the main infiltration/assassination team with Daredevil being field leader. When necessary, DS and Blink would join them on more difficult missions, in which case leadership would of course default to Deathstroke.
