i'd like to get everyones opinion on their top 10 favourite hip hop albums. im always lookin for new rap to listen to as well as classic albums and ill definitely check out any artists i havent heard of if you post them.

these are my top ten today, but im sure they'll change by next week.

wordsworth - mirror music
weathermen - the conspiracy mixtape
micranots - obelisk movements
mcenroe & birdapres - nothing is cool
masta ace - a long hot summer
living legends - almost famous
lootpack - soundpieces: da antidote!
fermented reptile - lets just calls you "quits"
atmosphere - you can't imagine how much fun we're having
aesop rock - labor days

got a couple classics on there, not a big tupac fan tho. kanye west is the only mainstream rapper out right now that i can stomach. that album was pretty good.

man, i need soulseek, i've been tryin to dl like half of those and cant find them and the rest i already have. i didnt mean new as in released lately, i just meant new as in i havent heard it yet. laughing out loud

Yeah. Euphony is good, it's basically just a collection of Atoms Fam collabs and whatnot, but it's got some great stuff on it, 'Sinister' and 'Water' (both feature Aes Rock) are outstanding. The Prequel (album) is good too, haven't listened to it much though. Alaska is dope.

the prequel is better in my opinion, its mainly cryptic one, alaska and vast aire. euphony has a few aesop tracks on it, but not as much alaska, who's my favourite from the group.

Oh and if anyone wants something new to check out, get hold of Sin-A-Matic by Louis Logic. One of the most underrated indie hip-hop albums ever.

naw i just hate computers and i dont want to try and get another program working, the idea of it sounds good tho. ive been usin limewire for a long time and i have a pretty good thing goin with taht, its really hard to find any p & c stuff

Its pretty easy to set up and D00m (the artist formaly known as Eraserhead) and a few others have loads of P&C stuff on there. Its also cool to chat on.

ill check it out, i wanna buy that p & c stuff eventually, support the canadian hip hop scene. previewing it wont hurt big grin

gruf and pip skid came to kingston, it was an awesome show. i dont have a lot to compare it to, first rap show for me, but they had tons of energy and they played some of my favourite songs which was cool.

El-P and Cage played literally everything when I saw them, couldn't have picked a better setlist myself.

yeah it sucked, i spent all my money on gettin ****ed up and into the show. i couldnt get any of their cds.

As long as you enjoyed it thats the main thing. You can get the CD's from their site at a later date, the prices seem very reasonable. Getting messed up is never a waste of money in my view.

problem is keepin my money long enough to buy them. i only own 5 or 6 hip hop cds, i have 71 burned ones and im still turnin them out faster than i can listen to them. i only thought i had like 50, i jsut counted them. shit

Thats alot of hip hop man. You really need to get on slsk if you're running thin though, you wont regret it.
