DarkAge
I have never felt so rotten in all my life, I don't even want to think about it. That's why I've created this thread for everyone out there who has problems that they'd like to take their minds off of. We can all post anything at all that is happy and positive until we have a whole big thread that could cheer anyone up. I'll start.

And Joy is Everywhere;
It is in the Earth's green covering of grass;
In the blue serenity of the Sky;
In the reckless exuberance of Spring;
In the severe abstinence of gray Winter;
In the Living flesh that animates our bodily frame;
In the perfect poise of the Human figure, noble and upright;
In Living;
In the exercise of all our powers;
In the acquisition of Knowledge;
in fighting evils...
Joy is there Everywhere.

"Joy," by Rabindranath Tagore

Perk up:

Hello, baby hello
Haven't seen your face for a while
Have you quit doing time for me
Or are you still the same spoiled child

Hello, I said hello
Is this the only place you thought to go
Am I the only man you ever had
Or am I just the last surviving friend that you know

Harmony and me
We're pretty good company
Looking for an island
In our boat upon the sea
Harmony, gee I really love you
And I want to love you forever
And dream of the never, never, never leaving harmony

Hello, baby hello
Open up your heart and let your feelings flow
You're not unlucky knowing me
Keeping the speed real slow
In any case I set my own pace
By stealing the show, say hello, hello

Sir Mist
I watch Star Wars.

you know, so do I.

The only constant in my life has been my ability to watch SW...and feel better...

Cheers to you

DarkAge
Yeah, I've noticed it can have that effect. Star Wars rocks. And so does Batman.

Just having a good time talking with a friend usually works for me....being all alone is the worst thing....blahhhhhhhh.

If I need to cheer up, I usually start PM'ing PVS with a barrage of insults about his beliefs.

Seriously, I love watching Starship Troopers when I'm not feeling my best. I don't know why, but watching bugs and humans squashing each other's brains out really picks my spirits up.

Also, I'll make chicken wings (hooters-style) or order them and I'm all good after that.

lil bitchiness
Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Johnny Depp movies make me feel ok.

Playing a game usually does the trick, and drinking lots of coffee.

Oh and Star Wars of course.

The phrase "chicken-fried steak" amuses me. I'm easily amused.

Yeah, but with gas prices these days I'm having to limit my cool drives to about 50 yards, once per week. Up and down the driveway (twice!), and then I'm happy.

Morgoths_Wrath
just throw on some good tunes, always makes me feel better
