Movie based upon the later years of Ian Curtis, the singer/songwriter for Joy Division. An adaptation of Ian Curtis's wife, Deborah Curtis's novel "Touching From A Distance".

I'm sure at least all you Englanders out there are excited about this one?

papabeard

Incidently the life and death of Ian Curtis also features in the film 24 hour party people.

Wonderful film, Steve Coogan did a phenomenal job portraying Tony Wilson.

Yeah, Steve Coogan is good, very funny, the Shaun Ryder character also.

I like the fact that it focuses on a very important time in british music, that has never really been given much attention before.
