How can the third season dvd set of Family guy be out already when the third season just started and is still running.

I find that odd.

And on the back of the box it says final season. Does this mean that this is the last season of Family Guy?

Its up to season 5

I thought it was taken off air after the 2 season and then they released the dvd set of season 1and2 and then they brought it back again for its' third season which is airing right now.
