sorry if this threads been done before but ive searched and this subject didnt come up so post who you thought had the best death in the whole starwars saga

i thought greivous had a good death and so did windu well its up to all of you

Greedo's was nice. I also liked it when Han threw the thermal detonators at that Imperial officer in ROTJ.

Well i think that GG's death was kinda "cartoony" and didnt fit the movie...to me. There was no reason for his head to "explode". but overall, id have to say the best was Qui-Gon's...minus the living long enough to to impart his final words on Ob1. But he never saw it comming and the way Maul got him and didnt even care to watch the body drop. But most emotional would be Vaders.

I like the darkside tree vaders death(even though he was just part of a bad shroom trip or something luke was having) it was still best darth death I think cause they didnt show much of Dookus beheading sidious just fell down a shaft maul too sept he did come apart as he was falling but you got vaders head rolling face explodes then its not even him! well sorta er whatever I still say that one ruled

Qui Gonn dies without any dramatic pauses, or anything, just mid fight, he's swinging away trying to off maul, and then Bam he's done, doesn't even see it coming. Seemed maybe the most realistic of any of the duel.

Vaders death, definately.
After Vader i'd say chewbacca's.

That's EU though, if this included EU then it would have to be the Warlord that Corran Horn kills in the dual, that sick pause knowing he's lost, and knowing there isn't a single thing he can do to change it, that was great.

Luke ate some of Yoda's hallucigenic root stew!

i think dookus stands out more in my mind. it was so sudden and clean. it wasnt a bloody thing with screaming and running. just suddenly one of the most powerful jedi, and now sith lords hands are taken off during the climax of battle, no real indication he was losing. then he drops to his knees, doesnt say a word and gets his head mercelesly cleaved from his body. if you listened to the fight without watching youd have no idea what was going on (if you didnt have palpatine telling anakin to kill him). it was one of the only major combat deaths without any real fanfair, he wasnt cleaved in half and sent flying down a hole or shocked to hell with force lightning. very cool
