Who looks the coolest in all of comic-dom?? Or the worst?? Whenever possible, post pic or links to illustrate your choice.

I originally liked Alan Scott (when I was younger) because I like his costume...and the other GLs had too much green and nothing else. I still like it, though I'm a fan of his for other reasons too.

Oh, and while we all appreciate hot women, let's not have this turn into another "Hot Comic Chicks" thread...if you legitimately think they look "cool" go ahead and post it...otherwise, please refrain.

Night Thrasher. That guy had bulletproof armor that could probably exist on our earth. Our US Army probably has something like that developed already, but are to cheap and don't want to fork up the bill and mass market it to our soldiers. Plus those escrima sticks were cool. He also whooped Gideon's ass.

I always liked the look of Guy Gardner's Green Lantern - more like a uniform than tights.

Moon Knight looks like what Spectre should look like.

I'll Co-sign Iron Man (Scoob's pic rocked).

Functionality is more important to me than looks. So, anyone with a cape that doesn't make them fly, sucks.

Wings on your head? YOU SUCK!
Ears that don't help you hear? YOUUUU SUCK!

Nice point...probably why lp likes Orion so much (right?).

Other extremely "functional" suits would be Black Panther, Black Cat (the cleavage buys her a second of distraction-time), Doom, Iron Man (the most obvious), War Machine, Arthur's moth-suit, etc.

Orion is just badass. Cool backstory and a brutal attitude.

Strange has a killer costume, too. His cloak makes him fly, the amulet has uses, hell, even the insignia on his shirt is a protective enchantment.

Nothing is there for show.

War Machine had a great suit.
Venom's suit was cool for it's time.
Can't go wrong with The Punisher's costume.
I sort of liked Wolverine's original costume, with the smaller ears, sometimes not there at all.

Silver Surfer, when drawn right, is unequaled.

Slade's suit has always been crap, I even admit it.

I just think its a cool one.

Of course im talking about the original by Jurgens, the rest honestly enough sux.

Hyperion's new suit looks pretty spiffy.

Namor's pants must have been made from the same material then Hulk's (Hell, Namor was the original unbreakable-pants guy). Are they cloth-thin adamantium? Extraterrestial material? Atlantean fabric? Anyway, they take blasts as hot as sun, miniature nuclear bombs, blasts from Silver Surfer and other crap, and they still not break. They even don't rip, unlike Hulks. Damn, I wan't pants like that to protect my family jewels.

Anyway, the best costume to me has always been the New X-Men era X-Men costumes. Practical and cool.

Venom looks way gnarlier than black costume Spidey.

Yeah but one is Spider-Man with the Venom symbiote and Venom is Eddie Brock with the Venom symbiote.

I just think Venom does better with it though.
