The three are trapped in identical prison cells in a well-guarded Syrian prison with 48 hours until execution. They receive letters. Enclosed is a rubber band, a paper clip and a drinking straw. Who, if anyone, escapes first using only these items?

Batman punches through the wall and escapes lol

um batman with ease, in batman/superman number 6 he picked a lock to a cell that was strong enough to hold supergirl and superboy, and he did it in seconds. Give batman a paperclip and the possiblilities are endless.

MacGyver everyday.
This guy can create a nuclear strike with those items.

MacGyver excapes prision, wins over the locals by building a water and sewage treatment plant, municipal park, univeristy, nuclear energy plant, and a genetically engineered 8 legged camel. They elect him king and he still has 36 hours to spare.

Batman first. He uses the paperclip only to open the lock and sneak out.
MacGyver makes a small bow with the paperclip layed out as an arrow. He calls the guard over and shoots him in the eye in such a way that the guard will fall down with the keys next to the bars to the cell. He gets the keys and walks out.
Stark stares at the walls. He is executed.

Mac or Batman, but Batman moves faster, so I'd give him the edge.

I think MacGyver would use the the paperclip to secure the straw to the rubberband that will hang in the window. The air currents will make the strat vibrate in such a way that it sends an SOS to nearby allied forces base.

Then he rigs the same rubberband, paperclip, and straw to blow the doors off his cell while the his allies attack the base to make his escape.

Stark just bribes the guards to let him out

Mcgyver fiugures out how to get out and bruce wayne and tony stark are the muscle who beats up the guard who try to stop them.

They steal a vehicle and escape.
