But my point is, you should give other people a chance even if they don't fit whatever the hell the definition of cool is that precise second; if you don't do so, then you have no idea what you're missing. You could miss out on meeting someone who could wind up being your best friend.

And the way she said she looks down on those less fortunate makes it seem as though she thinks she's better than people she thinks are geeks. Which kinda pisses me off.

I just get easily irritated when people look down on others because they're geeks and can admit it. I've never hidden the fact that I'm a huge geek and got picked on and teased all through high school because of it, simply because other people refused to give me a chance. It's sad.

Thanks, though in real life I actually have rather low self-esteem at times I'm just way too shy. But I am working at being more outgoing and stuff. I already have become very outgoing and confident online, and it's starting to transfer into how I am offline. Which is always a good thing.

This isn't to say that my online and offline personas are two completely different people, just that online I feel more able to actually be myself than offline.

Well, most of the socks at the moment are from one specific member who was banned and just won't stay away

And it's gotten bad in the past year, but it's not going to get better by all the good members leaving. It's already better than it was in the summer.
