Damn, this is going to be hard. I mean, only being able to pick 10. Well, the topic of this thread is to pick 10 HORROR movies...so I will exclude anything that could be considered sci-fi. As much as I absolutely love John Carpenter's The Thing, Alien, Aliens, and the remake of the Blob (1988), I will exclude them from this list because they could also be considered "Sci-Fi". I will stick to strictly "horror". The title of this thread also said "Top 10 Horror movies"...now I don't know if the person meant top 10 "favorite" horror movies or to rank the top 10 "best" horror movies...so, I'm going to do both. The first top 10 list will be movies that I think are the best in horror. I mean, without these top 10, horror would not be what it is today. The 10 horror movies that helped shaped the genre into what it is...the best of the best you could say. The second list is a list of my personal top 10 favorites...the 10 I could watch over and over again...o.k...here goes.......

Info:A Ouija board is brought over to a college party. And then it is used by a ignorant girl who then get's possesed by an evil axe murderer who she belives is a young child.

2.The Texas chainsaw massacre(2003)
Info:Five young adults go on a road trip and later get stopped in the middle of their travels by a crazed Psychopathic family.

3.The hills have eyes(2006)
Info: An unsespecting family become stuck in the desert by mutated serial killing deformities.

4.American Gothic
Info:Three couples become lost on an island and then are forced to deal with a crazed religious family.

5.Dracula(1979)
Info: A doctor and many others are forced to kill a vampire when it is lowering the population of there town by sucking their blood.

6.What lies beneath
Info: A woman is contacted by a taunted ghost who seeks for help to solve her murder.

7.Dawn of the Dead(2004)
Info: The last survivors of a deadly plague that transform humans into to zombies take refuge in mall to ward off these evil creatures.

8.The Changeling
