Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to assemble a team of 5 Marvel villians (below herald level) to kill Superman. The will have two days of prep time, know that Superman is vulnerable to certain types of radiation but they don't know exactly which, and know that he has a slight weakness to magic (I say slight because the man has withstood Cap Marvel's lighting and a shot from Thor's hammer without being killed, he is vulnerable but not that vulnerable).

The fight takes place in Metropolis on a Thursday at 1:40 in the P.M.
Also, there is no speed blitzing at that would make the fight too easy but both sides are going for the kill.

Who could kill the Man of Steel?

Deadly Vipers Superman Assasination Squad!

1) Spiral
2) Amora the Enchantress
3) Ecstasy (French drug dealer who stole Cloak's powers for a while)
4) Alkhema
5) Madelynne Pryor

This team has no need to attempt to beat Supes by matching power against power, although between Alkhema and Maddie, they could hold up against him for a while if it came to that.

I imagine a scenario in which Spiral "kidnaps Lois" who is in fact the Enchantress in disguise (with 2 days of prep, they could spy/scry and know his identity). When he comes flying in to the rescue he gets to beat up a doppleganger of spiral (illusion, android, or perhaps the real Lois magically transformed and controlled to be the patsy-Spiral). A thank-you kiss from the Enchantress will scramble his mind, the real spiral ports in and does a dancy-stab thst disrupts his powers, and then Ecstasy appears (with Alkhema and Maddie in tow) and drags him into her Cloak to drain his life force. If he resists, Maddie and Alkhema can overcome him in his confused/weakenned state.

Besides, raw-power is not the best way to contend with the Man of Steel.

Hmm interesting I am not gonna choose any physical strength guys Superman always finds his ways around those or just over powers them. So I would pick. Alright I am done searching and I just realized there is alot of below herald level guys who can not do crap.

It can be done. The "weakest" member of my squad could possably beat him herself. Cloak nearly bagged Thanos once, after all. If not for that pesky Infinity Gauntlet, there might be no more Mad Titan.

actually, i don't think it is that hard to come up with FIVE villains who could work together and PLAN to defeat him. throw five reg villains in a ring with no prep and things might be different.

and five below herald WITH 2 days prep AND know his weakness?

doom does it alone. in 2 days he gets MORE info on supes or finds some trace of dna, isolates the weakness and weaknes him with k-night. supes might still have fight left in him but unfortunately doom is also very adept at magic. OR, forget the dna, he finds some spell he can cast and wipes him out that way.

again, 2 days prep AND some knowledge of his weaknesses is too easy.

Ultron (good to have around for Absorbing Man as well)
