1. iceman (if we consider his ability to grow in size and strength)
2. polaris (same applicable use of her powers as magneto or joseph)
2. cable (telekinetically increase his strength, conceivably tied with polaris)

5. colossus/warpath (both class 90)
7. beast
8. rogue (with ms. marvel's powers. no stronger than storm currently.)
9. sunspot (not an x-man, but okay)
10. archangel (still stronger than wolverine, bub.)
11. wolverine
12. bishop (conceivably stronger than archangel at peak performance)

20. xavier (average his impressive upper body strength with his non-existent lower body strength.)

and jean's dead, so i dropped her from the running. and caliban's never been an x-man, only a member of x-force.

actauly archangle is a good deal weaker then wolverine he is a level 3 which is peak human wolverine is a superhuman.

Warpath is around 80+ tons. I couldn't remember how strong Thunderbird I was but I just assumed he was close to his brother, regardless he and everyone else in my list listed above Wolverine is stronger than Wolverine - which is likely the only thing you wanted to know when you opened the thread. Marvel.com means all of absolutely nothing to me.

to bad all the hand books say the same thing wolverine is superior to archangle in strength. any ways warpath use to be 10 ton character also thats quite a jump to 80tons do u have any proof?

Though I loathe using the often out-of-date Marvel Directory he's listed as 75-90 tons.

realy damnever realized warpath got so stronge. back in the day when he fought wolverine he was only about 10 tons. thou marvel dictionary is not official he can't be to much weaker then what they listed.

As for Angel's strength vs Wolverine's well I'd wager your handbooks say Wolverine is stronger than Psylocke too, yet...

Thunderbird 1 wasnt very strong he could only lift a few tons i'll have to dig it up but hes no way stronger than rogue

Thunderbird I kind of sucked then. No wonder they killed him off. Revised.

I thought Colossus was stronger than Jobbernaut as shown in X-men? If Exiles Sasquatch has the same level of strength as 616 Sas then Colossus is stronger than her as well.

Hmm... 616 Sasquatch seems pretty impressive from what's been posted in the Alpha Flight thread. I went Sasquatch>Thing approx= Colossus. Jobbernaut and him stalemated then again he's been depowered apparently.

But Colossus is still acknowledged by the handbooks as stronger. While the figures in them that refer to each characters class' may not be accurate when you refer to on panel evidence, you still have a conclusive hierarchy for characters who are of different strength categories. For example whil ethe figures dont accurately represent on panel feats for both characters, Class 100 colossus is stronger than class 70 Sasquatch.

Jobbernaut and him may have stalemated but thats a battle feat, not a strength feat. Strength feats are what we need to focus on for this thread. As shown in X-men this year, colossus outclasses current Juggernaut.

Meh... it doesn't really matter. I'd wager the whole point of this thread was to somehow get Wolverine into a top ten of X-Men strengths.

actauly it was not I relay wanted to know who was the storngest to weakest in pure strength of all the x-men. by the way pylocke is in fact extremely strong if she puts her powers into it same with racheal and jean. there easiliy over 20 tons. warren on the other hand is peak and is under wolverine in strength. I not sure what current jugg strength is but I think he may infact be weaker then colossus.
I also thing that night cralwer may in fact be stronger then scot and havok.

wolverine doesn't have superhuman strength. handbooks dont mean jack shit when it comes to listing strength levels. they gave blink a 7 in terms of speed, just because she can teleport. her teleporting might be "instantaneous," but marking that as "warp speed" is a misnomer. you show me a panel of wolverine hoisting a weight akin to the untold tons of rubble on archangel shown in the "alpha mutants" thread, and i'll consider your point. until then, i hate to be the bearer of bad news, BUT WOLVERINE DOES NOT HAVE SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH.

and nightcrawler has no enhanced musculature, so his physical strength depends purely on the size of his muscles. and he falls far short of cyclops or havok when it comes to that.
