I'm on my period and I've been having the worse cramps of my life (no exaggeration) And I was wondering if any of you knew what I could do (or buy) to get rid of these cramps. I've tried moving around and hot showers. Anything else?

Ibuprofen? shrug

I use Advil. It ususally does the trick. I used to get unbearable cramps but I started the pill. It helps so much.

Ibuprofen works better for painkilling, I've found.

I can't take birth control. I took it was and I started bleeding...alot

Well I'll probably have to wait a while. My room mate stopped at the store and bought me some Midol (he's sucha sweetheart) and I just took those

Thanks girl. It sucks because I was suppose to be going over to my friends house for a pool party (indoor pool and hot tub). Damnit...Men are sooooo lucky

cramps can be caused by serveral things......you may have low potasium.........in order to fix that, you would eat bananas or pickles, or something that has potasiu in it........could also be gas.....happens to me often......burp or fart....well not fart.....not lady like.......poot.

That sucks so much. You should still go though. The hot tub might make you feel better. And I agree, men are very lucky.

Oh. Haha yeah that might not be such a good idea. Unless you can borrow a bathing suit from a friend? Being active also helps with cramps so swimming around might do you some good.

Hey man I dont have mine yet but Id suggest Midol if you havent tried it or ibuprofen always works the fastest for me whenever I have bad pains. Eat chocolate too.
