Revealing an astounding beauty
And a sadness that pervades

To shine light on the pristine,
However dark to the man who knows

And yet time still wheezes on,
Carrying life but dragging death

To an inculpable vitality,
Spilt from the cup that pours
The gentleness of a dying innocence.

Dream World

Once a night
I go to a fairy-tale land
Where I find thine light.

Then I realize
That sweet world of mine
Is but a dream.

That place I feel, hear, and think,
Where my wishes are true,
And realizations are few.

As I drift away
From that magical world
I hope I could trade my boring life
For that mystical lure.

When the dawn comes,
I mourn,
For 'twill be but another day
Before that special span of time
Comes again.
