Conformity or Conflict

In life I believe conformity leads for most people in my country which is Britain to a roof over their heads and food on the table, it also leads to many of the luxuries that make life more bearable. I do not believe conformity leads to great spoils for the average person - For some it can lead to more but they are the exception. Those people that buck the system and take chances are in my opininion more likely to gain greater spoils, but they are also more likely to fall.

Do others agree or do you disagree?

Do you have evidence to support either proposition or is your opinion like mine only based on conjecture?

Is my conjecture based on programming and socialisation throughout my life?

Are we really free to choose in most situations?

I am talking about high level success - actually going beyond managerial and or professional roles.

Those who don't conform can also lead themselves to death.
But in a way they do get larger spoils on a grand scale. If you look at the civil rights movements and civil disobedience, well that proved to be the best way of getting about the situation, people died, and were arrested, but in the end it was beneficial.

So sometimes it's a question of "for the greater good?"

Does this have an income requirement or status quo? What exactly do you mean by conflict as in not the norm? At the end of the day I will and always will believe talent has its uses but a man/woman without persistance is nothing but a slave to themselves and those around them.

I believe few if any of us "normal" people are free, but thats another issue.

I guess I think confromity keeps us in chain, I don't want this to be a follow the leader thread though - with you Soleran I know thats never an issue my friend.

You know you gotta love a conversation where the topic and be used in and on itself.....as in people who have "conflict" actually have a form of conformity with like people of conflict.....etc etc etc

In my opinion I believe that we are social creatures and there will always be some conformity however its when someone or something has a goal/focus beyond whats presented to them and do not let anything dissuade them then perhaps that conformity is broken at a certain level and something great can be achieved.........however nothing worth winning is easy and nothing easy is worth winning (but you still have to love these easy datessmile
