I just made this thread to see what really sticks in peoples heads. This isn't anything like "Most disturbing scene" or anything of the sort. I just want to know what scenes meant most to you and what really sticks with you. The scenes DO NOT hafto be in order, I just want to make that clear. no need to hurt yourselves. So I am going to list the 5 most memorable scenes I can think of in any movie.

Saving private Ryan- D-Day invasion on Omah beach-The most harrowing and powerful 25 minutes of film i have ever seen

Schindler's List-Liquidation of the Krakow ghetto- the second most harrowing and powerful scene i have h=evr seen. The little girl in the red coat is one of the iconic images in the history of cinama.

Schindler's List-"I could have done more" speech-brings me to tears every time

The Two Towers-Scizophrennia scene between gollum and Smeagul- brilliant depiction of complete insanity

The Return of the King- "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!"- *sob* so good.

The Two towers- Battle of helms Deep- Most entertaining battle scene ever filmed.

The fellowship of the Ring (this is my last LOTR scene)- ending- brilliantly acted and scored

Scarface- Tony's death scene- AWSOME!

Platoon- Willem Dafoe's death scene- very powerful

XMen2: When Jean Grey dies and Logan starts crying but was trying to hold it in but cant help it while saying "she's gone" and Cyclops was grabbing him up saying "No! no shes not!" and wolverine kept saying it trying not to lose it "she's gone.." And then Cyclops lost it too. Then Wolverine grabbed him up, it was just an emotional roller coaster.

The deer hunter's Roulette scenes were so powerful.

The finale of Leon: The Professional. A very emotional scene, for those who haven't seen it I'll just say: killed two birds with one stone.

Also, the best animated death was (for those who have seen the entire Bebop series)pike's death, easily the most powerful animated scene of all time.

There was another scene that has been stuck on my head for awhile. Anyone remenber American History X? When the skinhead make the black guy open his mouth and put it against the pavement. Then stomps him? That cruch sound stuck was disturbing.

After the mask locked on air tight, the scene got queit for a sec, then........

Tom-Yum-Goong - 4 minute action scene done in one take where tony jaa fights from the first floor to the fourth floor of the restaurant

Tom-Yum-Goong - tony jaa fights 20 thugs and breaks the bones of every one of them

Ong Bak - foot chase through the market

sAW - last scene of the movie

Touch of Evil - opening scene

I'd also like to add, The blind shootout scene in 'Once upon a time in mexico'

Nice scene. The restaurant scene when Sands shoots the chef is better though, IMO.

I also got the scene from Mulholland Drive where the bum glides out of the alley and the man gets a heart attack stuck in my head.

Easy Rider - The Ending scene where Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper die
Raging Bull - The end where De Niro is punching the wall in jail
