Spiderman is without a doubt top 10 when it comes to "cool" comic book characters.

If my scanner was working i'd post some scans of the recent Spidey comics I have. Like where he was dodging bullets from hundreds of Hydra members shooting at him. I can't forget to mention that he was towing a guy with one hand and making the bullets miss him too.

It might have been before Thor became king thor........

I think it is because Morlun absorbs Spideys life energy with each hit.
this might has weakened Spidey that he felt the impact much harder.

But it could also be that Hulk never hit Spidey at full power or Thor.

But even so Morlun is a Class 100 in my eyes.

Hulk may have never landed such a solid punch. I don't know for sure though. Or it could just be exaggerated...it's not an unbiased source, since Spidey's narrating that part. And yeah...Morlun, not Morbius. It's been a while since I read those issues.

I don't think it was that bad. It took Spiderman like all day of exploiting Firelord's rambo jackassery just to knock him out. But definitely not something to credit to Spiderman's powers alone.

It is Masterson.

Those Hulk scans are in one of my initial posts...but yeah, he holds his own (until Hulk thunderclaps him). Nice fight with Thor too...Spidey's great for being able to hang with people who are totally out of his league because of his speed and agility.

He runs around for a LONG time in New York, gets a subway train to hit FL head-on, then tricks him into blowing up a gas station when FL was right there. He then finishes him off with a wild flurry of dodging and punching. So some handy plot devices helped Spidey out a bit, since he couldn't do it himself, but it was still a great showing.

I have "stolen" others peoples scans in the past lol, but for once, the two I posted here (Hulk vs SM) were mine. I recognize them by their not so great quality lol.

LOL. Nice pic there cresh. That looks sorta like ASM 33 (which is actually in one of my scans) but it may just be something that was edited as a joke. If it actually happened, that's hilarious, but it seems a bit suspect to me.

I have had a couple Spidey-theories over in the vs. forum so I thought I'd share them here...
Please note, these aren't spoilers...just my own (hopefully semi-educated) guesses.

1. Parker will find a way to absorb Morlun's energy and power, thus getting a sizable power upgrade.

2. If there's an upgrade (and it isn't because of my first theory) it will be linked to his spider-sense. Parker's recently been musing about "being connected to something greater" through his spider-sense. It's almost like a toned down cosmic awareness, but that seems too obvious (and ridiculous at the same time). Some sort of empathic abilities (similar to communicating with spiders??) might not be far behind.

...just random bullsh*t. But if it happens, I want people to know I thought of it....hehe.

well in "Spider-Man: Disassembled" it was said that about a third of all people have the "Insect Gene" (i think... don't remember it too well) and he was able to read their minds to get the info to disarm that bomb thingy the weird chick had..... maybe they could expand on that

Issue #?? All I have on disc format is Amazing Spider-Man comics, so if it's an offshoot title, I don't have it (or, if I do, I can't post scans since my scanner stopped working a while back). There was only about 50 issues with the black costume, so I'll browse through them and see if I find anything.

haven't read that one... the only one i read with them was a re-print in the back of a Transformers comic..... some kid had been injured so Spidey lost the rag and trashed IM 2020.... but i don't remember a sewer fight scene

i got that issue. That was after he had some training with Captain america who stated that peter should train more and not just rely on his reflexes because sometimes acting on instinct can kill .

Can't post scans of these but here goes...

1. In Secret Wars (I'll get the issue # later) he successfully dodges and humiliates Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Xavier at the same time. He wisely went for Xavier first and knocked him out of the fight for a while. He also pimp-slapped Wolverine with a backhand without even looking at him (he used only his spider-sense).

2. Later in Secret Wars, he owned Titania...who had been augmented to easily 100 tons. She had been beating the crap out of She-Hulk earlier in the issue before Spidey took her out.

...sorry for no scans, but the feats are worth mentioning.

Nah, I'm at about 200. Some of the early scans I posted are from issues later than that because I skimmed through them (I only read issues that looked like they might have sweet battles or feats)...but now I'm reading all of them, and it's a bit slower.

I feel a bit guilty that I can't update more, but modding sometimes strips my KMC time away. But now that you mention it, I'll try and knock off another 50 or so tonight and post scans tonight or tomorrow. I have some time, and have already voted in 1 of the 2 tourney battles.
