i know he is not well know but post of feats here

i was gonna make one but haven't found the time.ima post some scans on the weekend show people some quasar feats.

I've got a fair few Quasar scans.. I'll upload some if i get time...

Yeah. He's actually pretty uber. Surfer level probably. And powers are very (very) similar to a GL, except it's not based on willpower.

His powers give him access to the Quantum zone, so he taps those energies to create his constructs and do other feats. He absorbed Ego the Living Planet, something Surfer couldn't do.

If something needs to be absorbed, Quasar's your man.... no-one else below sky father level can cope with the energies (and stuff) that he absorbs... except maybe Thor

major feats for Quasar in TI #5.
he forms shields that protect the team from an explosion meant to kill them. Taking into consideration that characters like Gladiator, Surfer and Beta Ray Bill were to be killed we can assume it's a serious detonation Quasar stopped. To succeed he drains power from all his team members WITHOUT asking their permission and he does son in less than a nanosecond!!! Speed, shield, energy leech. That's Quasar gentlemen!

a quick note here too--that was issue 11 of his series. that was early in his career, still his old costume. he became much better with his powers as the series went along....

so wendell actually beat him twice--even when he had adamantium. another very strong showing. would creel have blown up on his own? maybe, but he might have been able to keep the power in control. doesn't matter as wendell took him out anyway. and again, this was early wendell.

i know it wasn't the real thor, but it was a much better battle all around and i think i'd give the edge to quasar in their respective showings. but you're right, they are very close in terms of power. i'll add more stuff so people can get a better idea of what quasar can do.

nova's best stuff is by far the annihilation stuff, imo. my ONLY problem with using that is that it is really nova's shining moment--he was the one getting the push in that arc, so it doesn't surprise me that in that arc he came out looking the better. his feats there were great. what i wanted to see was how he TYPICALLY performed. we can talk more if you're interested when all the feats have been presented. this is good--i've already learned a couple things about nova, and frankly, that's what i was after.

and here is the much discussed watcher battle. i think it surpasses the sphinx battle mostly because this was more 1on1 and quasar does some serious damage on his own. note too that quasar mentions the watcher's power level and he'd already met the stranger and terminus by that time.

and if anyone missed it, those versions were considered by quasar to be even more powerful and better trained with the bands than he himself was. they were recreated by thanos when he had the IG. a very nice feat imo. there was a fourth (marvel boy) who quasar defeated very easily a little later.

he actually used/absorbed and redirected the IG's energy back at thanos! that is a pretty spectacular feat for the q-bands imho. he actually did pretty well for himself. obviously he couldn't win (and thanos just made the 4 protectors and left) but still, a very strong showing imo.

more later. this is actually kind of fun going through some of this stuff again. hopefully some people are getting a little better appreciation for how powerful wendell was.

they'd battled previously but after a brief engagement quasar just quantum jumped away. just another example though of quasar's standing as a cosmic hero. he was asked to contact ETERNITY by captain america. of course he was also given the task of using the UN against magus and his IG. that was one of the things i liked about him--he was always in the heart of the big stuff--obviously the COSMOS IN COLLISION arc where he became INFINITY's avatar and defeated maelstrom who was OBLIVION's avatar was a perfect example of that. i'll post the famous battle against ss shortly.

the starbrand was a BEAST in that arc. ereshkigal effortlessly altered order and chaos. would have been interesting to see her tackle lt. also implied there was the idea that the new universe wasn't just another universe, but a whole other multiverse where lt wasn't supreme--he couldn't even possess the starbrand. more cool ideas from the series. i liked the new universe tie in. too bad they mucked up the current version of the starbrand so badly.
