All citizens of the Empire, of course, are registered in the central database!

Collated here are everyone's characters. At first, for easy reference, I shall post all the numbers (Imperial first, followed by Rebel) and then I shall post people's backgrounds.

If you want to make a character yourself, go here:

Ok folks, going to be building this one up over the next few days.

A look at the Imperial templates soon tells me that we have a trio of Captain, General and Squadron Leader- you are the senior staff aboard the Star Destroyer Deviator then. It is your choice as to whether you are old comrades or new, but a presumption is made by this game that Imperial Class Star Destroyers are new.

Our Captain seems a little underspent stat wise, if you want to take a look, Barb. I have also disallowed the odd Merit, and some people were trying to sneak in extra Fortune- naughty naughty! If you want luck, go Rebel.

More to follow, though the game will probably start before all this is finished.

Other logistical sortings for the Imperials will actually take place at the start of the game.

Lord Melkor
My character and his Assistant could be on board of Deviator too.

I wonder, who the Provocateurs answer to, and who recuited Lana`s and Zink`s characters( I, perhaps?)

And what about NPC Captains and Generals? When Melkor was assigned his task, he obviously checked their bios.

Ushgarak
What did I just say about such things being handled at the start of the game?

Lord Melkor
Sorry, I am just too eager to start. roll eyes (sarcastic)

I'll tell him to take a look at that - probably today I'm going to help him finish up his character (picking merits and such). I know that one is going to be an ally.

Ushgarak
Ok, Rebels are up!

A few skill points going spare, normally because people spent above the maximum on a starting character- a reminder that is normally 12, butn for Traders and Bounty Hunterts (who pick up lots of stuff as they go along but rarely specialise) it is 11.

A PC has been taken as an Ally- no point doing that, that's assumed! Allies have to be non-players.

And Miss Crickett? May I know your Royal Title please?

And Thraxis- I removed your armour; you should be aware that it would sink your Combat total and make you effectively useless as a character.

bobcrickett
I have a royal title? Hot!

I'll think of something.

bobcrickett

Lord Melkor
Duchess sounds better. And it is higher title.

bobcrickett
You think so? Oh, alright then. Duchess Sasha it is!

Lord Melkor
Executing Duchess should be more satisfactory than mere Baroness.

Can I add all three to Pilot?

Ushgarak
You can only add one more, I am afraid.

DarkDethbringer
wait is this teh final or can more come my bro stil hasnt made his

Eleskarr
I just made my char can I be in?

Jazzman_78
Hey, Ush. I just noticed that my pilot tricks are wrong. I had selected the ones you had here before the tricks were updated. What I should have is:

Daredevil lvl 2
Speed King lvl 2
Favorite Seat

Sorry I didn't notice sooner, hope it can still be changed.

Then one ot that, and two to fix-it.

DarkDethbringer
a question how do I get Skills that I don't stat with, liek later down teh road can I get, Combat? becasue I find it akward having Gun and pilot skills but no hand to hand combat and I saw some peopel start with skills the type they were didn't stst with how did that happen?

Captain REX
Usually blasters are better, but yeah, you can, obviously, with XP.

General Kaliero
Hey Ush? My final merit was to be Reputation. Specifically a humorous one among cantina scum and other smugglers.

DarkDethbringer
how does XP work is tehr ea thread to explain it? oh and is tehre a possibility of getting Devices down teh road?

Ushgarak
Reputation isn't a merit.

XP hasn't been fully keyed to the new system yet but will be by the time it arrives.

Lana
Well, uhh, one would hope that stick out tongue

Even though the armor is a rather important part of the character, I'll let it drop: I'd thought that Dexterity was the relevant attribute to combat totals, which is why I put Agility at 6, rather than Dexterity. With that in mind, I'd like to keep the armor (albeit at 2 rather than 4) and switch the 6 and 7 in Agility and Dexterity.

For the 2 extra skill points, could I take medicine? I'd imagine that 'Frank' knows the scarification rituals, tattooing, and other such cultural things. After all, they're more or less neccesities for any and all members of the Warrior caste, since your position in the caste is determined by your honor, and your honor is determined by your tattoos and scars, so a Warrior caste would likely know how to do such things. He'd also know a bit about, say, patching up his wounds- a bit of battlefield medicine he'd've picked up.

As for the ally... I have absolutely no idea. I'll think of something soon.

Ushgarak
It doesn't matter which one you switch; your basic Combat skill is 13 and it would then be reduced when you put the armour on.

But yup, as you took the Widely Experienced power the two points can be in any non-combat skill you like.

Well, with that in mind, I think I'll resubmit his alien tricks, and clear up all the problems in one swoop.

Alien Schticks:
Superior Physiology
Natural Weaponry (+2 Hand Damage)
Natural Weaponry (+2 Natural Armor)
Warrior Society (5 Combat Tricks)

and, as this would change my skills...

Combat= 14
Guns +5 =12
Intimidation +4 =12
Languages +4 =12

Just as a note, the armor that I'm going to be describing in my posts... well, its there for stylistic reasons and has no actual effects.

Ushgarak
No probs, thanks.

General Kaliero
Okay, Ush, here's the revised skills and merits.

SKILLS

Guns = 14
Combat +5 =12
Pilot = 14
Languages +1 =8
Savoir-Faire +2 =9
Gambling +1 =7
Fix-it +4 =10
Lying +4 =12
Observation +3 =9
Persuasion +4 =12

Merits:

Starship: The Black Dawn (Free)
Ally: XD-99 (droid)
Contact: Pirate clans
Haven: Hidden base in an Outer Rim asteroid field

That should do it, I think, unless I missed something else.

Vera21
It seems that I accidentally put my Fix-It score up to 14 at creation, and I would like to revise that by placing the two erroneous points into Intimidate. Should look like this.

Guns= 13
Pilot= 14
Combat +3= 10
Fix-it +5= 12
Intrusion +3= 10
Languages +2= 10
Lying +4= 10
Intimidate +2= 8

Ushgarak
BB, I seem to remember you made a change or update to your character at some point which I made a mental note to put in, remembered the note, but completely forgot where the change was.

Is this true or am I just going senile?

Bespin Bart
I am going to have to say that you are senile, but not because you forgot to make a change, more probably because you forgot you made the change. I don't even remember what the change was, but I remember making a change; my sheet matches yours.

Lana
Can I just say I am currently highly amused?

Bespin Bart
No, absolutely not. That's obviously against Code 1138 of the C.R.P.I.

...

Hello, I'm Chris.

That sounds about right- all is square then.

Trickster
Bump.

Little short of a year of non-activity.

Ushgarak
Yup.

Still, story -wise, it's all on now!

Lord Melkor
Well, we lost a large amount of players, especially on the Imperial side.... at least 3 I think. Imperial Templates are quite specialized, so some people find themselves clueless what to do at given moment. Especially the Fleet Templates( Captain, Squadron Leader) don`t have a direct challenge availible most of the time in this scenario. I tried to bring Trebeis into political struggle, but it didn`t end with lasting sucess.

This is just my opinion, I really like this game, but I think that there are issues why it wasn`t always going as smoothly as the PT one.

Lord Melkor
Hmm, I have been reading the Imperial thread again, and it seems that all players had something to do, the main problem was the player inactivity itself( mine as well at some point, I have to admit). Good that Ush has stopped with deviding each day into hours, it quickened the pace much.

Ushgarak
The hour thing worked fine if people had kept it clear in their heads what their objectives were. As it is, people were at a loss as to what to do. Always the problem with open-ended games, that!

Lord Melkor
Well, now I regret I was much lacking in activity in this game- especially during the game period roughly equivalent to second day in terms of game time.

Versyn Gaul
Well im ready for activity

Newjak
bump

REXXXX
Haha, I know why you did that, but I'm not using the old rules for the Janthis game. stick out tongue

Bardock42
I'll continue attacking knife guys, and do so last round too.

I have a question does any of the taps I could have help against mooks?

Ushgarak
Vader says your defensive one works just fine against Mooks tapped, Martial Arts is a modest advantage against Mooks when tapped and Flying Attack will turn a non-killing hit into a kill.

He also says to get back to your thread before he goes all Grippy on you!

Haha, will do.

Lord Melkor
I am rereading the OT threads and damm, it was epic.

IS there plausibility of returning to OT at this point, Ush?

Ushgarak
Only in very vague theory I am afraid.

I am just reading the Imperial thread and having fun doing so, the roleplaying and plot were really fun. Perhaps it feels different without the time delays that were a problem.

By the way, Ush, you never gave account how your offline OT game went differently to ours, if you have time I would really like to hear about it. I know you played Commisar, I wonder how it went.

REXXXX
Yeah, I've always been curious how it went.

I can always do Retro OT games!

Well, there was kind of preview of OT game in current Jedi episode, regarding the prediction of Star Destroyes appearing, wasn`t it?
