Best Comic - Astonishing X-Men. Great writing. Great art. Not the most imaginitive or groundbreaking title, but in terms of pure technical quality and beauty, it can't be beat.
Best Superhero - WOLVERINE
Best Superheroine - Spider Woman  yeah, yeah, New Avengers #4, p. 3..... panel 1.
Best Supporting Character - Dr. Strange (it's now his job to lend credibility to every Avengers storyline, ever.)
Best Writer - Grant Morrison *RSPKT* I'm probably the only person on the planet who's been buying and reading his Seven Soldiers minis, but it's a brilliantly imaginitive and tightly constructed superhero yarn. Very bold, very Morrison. I love it.
Best Artist - John Romita jr. He MADE Millar's Wolverine arc, and he even makes the Sentry's purposefully hokey costume look cool. (I like the gauntlets.)
Best Battle - Wolverine vs The Gorgon. x2 JRJR really outdid himself, Millar's prose was in top form, and even if the end was cliched, it was done flawlessly.
Best New Character - THE SENTRY. (technically he didn't debut this year, but he did only JUST begin interracting with the rest of the Marvel Universe again.) You all know why I think he's a brilliant character, just as I know the larger part of this board doesn't understand, want to understand, or like him.
Best Costume - Luke Cage. OK, so technically it's not a costume, but he is the sharpest-dressed hero in Marvel these days. I'd feel like a real dumbass running around in day-glo tights next to him.
Best Improvement - New Avengers. It's a testament to Bendis's writing ability that he made such an unlikely comic come together and work for me. I realize not everyone else shares my opinion of this comic, but
Best Mini-series - The only complete mini I read this year was House of M, and eh.... I just can't bring myself to vote for it even if it was the ONLY thing I read this year.
Best Crossover - See above...
Best Moment - I might get flamed for this.... New Avengers #5. "Oh no! I tore my Spider-booties!" "You call them 'booties?'" I laughed my head off for about five minutes straight, right in the middle of a cafe.
Best Cliffhanger - The resurrection issue of Astonishing X-Men. (Remember when they revealed that B&W page with the Pheonix? FOOLEDYA, HUH!?)
Best Villain - PC Superman.
Best Company - Marvel.
