What does the Words "I AM" mean to you?
Shakyamunison
I Am
I think I am
I think, therefore, I am, I think.

oh descartes..........
I am is a way to make yourself feel special by using the thing you most associate with........yourself
debbiejo
Everytime Jesus says "I Am" it's been taken to take he is god...though if you look at all the scriptures...they are taken quite wrong....just like I would say in a sentence....."I am" debbiejo, and you can know me just as I can know you.....

I am is what I am, no diety no believe no religion can change that I am what I am

Do you mean, I Am finti and I Am back?

Jury
When Jesus said "I am" .. that didn't make Him God... The blind man who came to Jesus also said "I am" , surely, it doesn't pertain to Jesus being "the God".

debbiejo
Because this is a religious conversation...

I AM is what distinguish ourselves from everything else.
"I AM" is to assume your own individuality. When we say "I AM" we are assuming, recognizing that what represents our own individuality, we are making it real, manifesting it... trying to make ourselves distinct from everything else.
Just noted finti“s ressurection out there..... pretty like Jesus !
debbiejo
Hallelujah....."I AM" pleased....
I feel when you use the words "I AM"...you are manifesting something...unlike the words "I would like to be", but already stating that you are.....and in doing so, you pull in that which you have stated.."Law of Attraction" again......
So, when Jesus said I AM, what was he stating?...
Shakyamunison
I Am God and so are you.
debbiejo
Like a conduit?....Maybe so...And in scripture Jesus said "These things and more you can do if you had the faith of a mustard seed."........Are we conduits also?

Well Jesus did make the statement "Know ye that ye are god?", and I and the father are are one...maybe meaning we don't realize our potential?...But he did?.....And he being a conduit, we can also.....That would explain things as miracles outside the Chriistian faith.

Because this is a religious conversation... I take it you're talking about john 8:58 here Jesus said before Abraham was I AM. The Greek word is eimi and it means he existed. eimi, i-mee'; first, pers. sing. pres. indic.; a prol. form of a prim. and defective verb; I exist (used only when emphatic):--am, have been, X it is I, was.
He existed before Abraham as the logos which can be a thought or idea. I don't want to read more into the bible than is actualy there but some people don't have a problem with it. I think he was the spiritual image of god, but not God. That's how he could say if you have seen me you have seen the father.

Aren't we all in gods image....so aren't we all in the "I AM" business?

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. I guess so.
