I'm gonna try and attempt a game thing now. Humor me, please.

Here's the way it works: I'll name a Marvel comics character, and the next person names a character who can take him in a fight (but don't go from Hammerhead to Galactus or anything; that kinda ruins it). Theoretically, we'll eventually escalate to Dark Pheonix and all that stuff. Repeats are allowed.

How the *bleep* is the Silver Surfer suppose to be stronger than Jean Grey?

Considering there was no mention of White Phoenix of the Crown made, nor any other reference to Phoenix, I went on the assumption that it was merely standard Jean Grey -- who is absolutely no match for Silver Surfer.

That means little. Cable was also an Omega Level mutant who's powers transcended those of standard Jean Grey and even rivaled those of Phoenix Force. He was defeated by the Silver Surfer. And while I give Jean great credit -- she's no where near the combatant Cable was.

Yeah. I'm still kinda confused as to how normal Jean Grey (I.e. NOT the Pheonix) could beat Magneto. Can someone explain that?
