It's a MOVIE, a totally different medium than a comic...things do not work out the same in these two.
I definitely prefer a more moderately sized human Beast to a comic-like sized CGI Beast.

it dont have to totally cgied but it would be good if he was slightly abnormal in size or posture n i no i want mystique to have jus a couple of seconds in a white dress she myt do in the spin off she myt be gettin

In my opinion, Beast looks dumb.

It may be just the pose, but there's something very... off about him.

I have to say, Angel's wings look fake as well. Maybe, again, it's only the shot, but they look bad to me. I was picturing really cool wings, but maybe they'll look better in CGI.

I do like Storm's new hair, though. At least she'll be back in it.


I'm sorry to say it, but I really don't have much faith in this movie living up to the previous two. Brett Ratner scares me, really. If he turns the X-Men into a campy, stupid, pun-filled movie... that'll be bad.

The pics are good and I'm glad to see we have them but I still want that trailer. And I don't know why but beast seems to remind me of what the creeper looked like in jeepers creepers.

Yeah that's pretty old. alot of ppl are confirmed dead or replaced. Plus u can see at the website where the photos came from Hugh didnt think so. And Ive heard the movie will be called something like "X3 The last stand" or something... also thats alot of speculation. But only time will tell.

U know I think it will be called the last stand and that's why they should and maybe will have dark phoenix as the villain, it would be a great way to finish the movies with thier most powerful villain.

They already killed Jean but she's coming back for the third (not suprising since in the comics she dies neally every time and then comes back and then dies etc etc).

Well in the comics where the x-men fight DP she dies by commiting suicide and that was how they beat DP so I don't know if she will die here.

jean grey wasnt the pheonix tho grrrrrrrrr jean grey was submergered in a cacoon lyk state underwater near new york the pheonix mimiced her physiological make up and basically claned her it was the power of the pheonix that kept gettin ressurected

The whole phoenix things really a mess these days. Jean herself is the same as the phoenix creature these days I think. Thanx to New X-men and Endsong. Although Im rally not an expert.

Well New X-men was the lead X-men comic a while ago (not to be confused with the current new x-men) written by grant morrison and with art often by frank quitley. HE had some really freaky (doped up IMO) stuff. Beast's a cat, cyke and emma frost had an affair, an new x-man xorn was magneto who was on drugs and killed buncaha nw yorkers, jean turned phoenix, jean died, magneto died, cyka and eemma hooked up again. The drugs was intelligent and was behind everything and possesed beast in the future, tried to kill everyone but was defeated. Xavier had an evil female twin who killed pretty much all of genosha and messed up the shiar . Endsong was another comic (more recent) about how jean came back (for a while) and was the phoenix.

do you people even know what beast is supposed to look like? honestly, that picture looks like the dropped the guy who'd played sabretooth into a vat of blue ink. i'd prefer a well-done CGI of beast than this blueverine piece of shit...

and marko, please use some grammar. storm never had a mohican, which was a tribe of indians. she had a mohawk, which was a popular hair style back in the day. also, you can't "dis summit," though you could "dis" something. it's really a pain in the ass trying to understand your posts.

Wow, that Beast picture is amazing. I was worried that he would end up looking too much like Nightcrawler, but they've done a good job.

I think it's just because his face isn't as well....round as it needs to be. It wasn't toned down with curves and angles. Maybe that's why he looks so different?

Beast looks nothing like I was expecting. I was looking forward to seeing a bulky furball, but instead it's just some guy in blue. I thought he was supposed to be a "beast," not a guy pretending to be one. Also, looking at his build, I can't really see him being stronger than Wolverine or Cyclops without it looking completely fake.

possibly. Ya really white teeth is odd. I agree maybe some greyish marks. but he is an angel (in a NON-homosexual way)...well a mutant with angel like mutation. So i would expect an angel have perfectly white wings right?

I think Beast looks amazing.I belive he looks like he came from the comic.He might not be as bulky,but none of the other actors are as big as their characters either,so I can deal with it(Sabretooth was big but I think size wise Sabretooth needed more than Beast).

I was literally just about to say that.

It's like they forgot to color them in, or something. The shape and features of the wings don't look half bad, but they're completely white. I was thinking more like the wings shown in Constantine.

Them wings were badass.

They actually had some color and depth to them.
