Kenty T-1000
The main theme behind the Terminator movies is that the future is not set and that you make your own future... however, this is impossible.

The Back to the Future trilogy states that time travel is extremely dangerous. Changing the smallest things can cause huge changes in the future.

2029 John sent a message to 80's Sarah saying to make her own future, etc. But surely if she changed things then in the future John wouldn't send her that note and so the past wouldn't happen because the future didn't happen and... ARGH! messed

Changing the past would cause cataclysmic events in the future and ultimately the space-time continuum would implode...

...pretty heavy stuff and maybe goes a bit to deep (it is only a story) but it is the major flaw accross all 3 films.

Decay
time travel is far too dangerous, if you go to the past to change anything, then the reason to go back will no longer exist, which means when the future comes around you wont go back to change it, which means the reason to change it once again exists and blah blah blah. also maybe its fate that someone went back in time to change things, it could the the grand plan of the universe for you to go back or fowards and right a terrible wrong to bring order and whatever.
