Details are starting to emerge on Hollywoods next big screen adaption 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'

British actress Geraldine McEwan (best known for her role in 'Miss Marple') has just been cast alongside Dakota Fanning as the evil Witch of the West.

WilL Ferrel is also aboard as the scarcrow with Ian Holm as the wonderous one.

'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' is expected to start shooting at easter with the film released in the Fall of 2007

I doubt this. I would really like a remake and have them do all the Oz books into movies but I doubt they do
