Which is more powerful?

Empire. Vong lost to a brand new Republic. There's a reason they never attacked the Empire.

This thread has been about 2 billion times and every single time the Empire won.

The Empire could rather easily have defeated the Infinite Empire, the Vong, the Republic(both New and Old), and Revan's Sith Empire if they had felt like it(which they would because they would be united against their enemies, so what happened in the Galactic Civil War would not happen.).

The Vong were on their way to attack the empire but they were coming from another galaxy so its just by chance that the rebels beat the empire. so if the rebels didnt win against the empire the empire wouldve
beat the Vong

The Vong had been in the galaxy ever since just after the events of TPM. That's when Vergere purposely let herself be captured by them so as to learn their ways and weaknesses.

Nom Anor and a few other prefects had infiltrated that one planet at the edge of the galaxy and stirred up trouble around 24 A.B.Y.

But the Vong Intelligence soon became aware that they had dodged a bullet by deciding to invade a little later...i.e. The Empire.
