I've tried everything and they won't upload. says the image is oversized when it's not.

if it is says it is oversize. then it is. all.
make it smaller.

still won't upload, no matter what the size is

Go to Profile. Go to Edit Profile. Go to your signature box. Click the "Upload Signature" link below that box. Upload the pic from wherever you have saved it. Copy and paste the code that comes up into the signature box.

I don't know what else could be happening to make it seem larger than it is.

Are you sure you're uploading the correct one?

Ah. There's his problem.

Save it as .JPEG.

how do I do that?

When you right click the picture, choose "Save as..." In the window that comes up there should be a "File Name" bar and a "File Type", or something alond those lines. For the "File Type" box, choose .JPEG from the drop-down menu.

Example:

Can you open the Bitmap image and then save it as a JPEG there?

Otherwise, I really don't know what else you could do.

I'm going to have to go on "Internet Options" in the "Tools" option on the the top of the screen to see what's wrong with the files

It's a bug with IE.

Right-click the preview for the attachment posted on the last page, and select Save Target As. Then it'll work.
