This forum should live again. Everything's dead because knowone posts anything in any other thread except the Tig Party thread and it's quite depressing. *Cries* . Have you forgotten your love for this Trilogy. Maybe you should sit down and watch the Series and come back and see how you feel. That's all it took for me, and now im quite sad that I have no good threads to post in, and get a nice reply back from.

Well, there are plenty of threads here to postt in...pick one and bring it back to life. There are plenty of LOTR fans here that would love to have an intelligent conversation....but almost all the topics and threads have been talked about.

lets make some mad crowd pleasing thread and post there just for numbers, then when the masses arnt looking we turn it in to some heavy LOTR talk.

Well, creating threads in the LOTR forum just for a high post count is dumb, but I see what you mean, many people wish for that. But as AD said, I wouldnt mind a good conversation about LOTR now and then.

Ive given you an idea! Lembas bread! haha

If we all were to work together, we could get this place jumping and jiving again !!!

I tried that this summer. It didn't really work all that much.

And I sent emails, ims, PMs, etc to every single person who ever posted on tig back in july and hadly anyone came back.

I am back and more than ready to talk Tolkien! If I don't get around to looking up some of the old interesting threads tonight, I will get to it sometime this weekend.

Although..... since we do have some new members and it has been a long time for the "lifers" on here to REALLY get into some good discussions on the books and the movies, I say we let some of the old threads die and pick up on a new generation of talk. I mean in the old threads the threads are so long and over-disscussed that it would take a year to read and a miracle to write something original!!!!

Damn its a shame! The bad thing about LotR is that its all seemed to have ended. Something like Star Wars and theres lots of expanded universe literature and so forth, with anything 'elvish' theres nothing like that. Can't balme Tolkien though!

haha i do that all the time aswell! Even if my friends say something that isnt remotly related to LOTR i will relate it back or quote! its hilarious to see there faces!
