I've never seen it done before so I'll bring it up.

When Obi-Wan was contacting Yoda and Mace from Kamino in AOTC, he said to R4 "Scramble code 5 to Coruscant, care of the Old Folk's Home."

Where exactly does that come from, "care of the Old Folk's Home?"

I assumed it was Republic/Jedi code. You know, they gave the Jedi Temple a nickname so that if the message was intercepted by the Separatists they'd be like "Wtf is the old folk's home?" Something like that.

i never noticed that he said "old folks home".
maybe he was referring to yoda.

Heh, pretty much. In LOE, Obi-Wan makes a lot of puns about the Council and Yoda.
