Everyone is to some degree, but I don't see the point in having these for reasons previously stated.

When I vote it's most certainly not biased. It's no secret that I have an extreme distaste to a lot of the mods and the mod system on this site. However, as the catagory stands, BackFire has been the one that seems most helpful and for what it's worth, the most fair of them all when doing his job. Even when we've both disagreed.

I think the objective areas should involve criteria if they are serious about doing these things.

I personally have no problem with these things existing. They are pointless but then again this is the OTF, as Lana said.

Most of these things have been done a million times and almost always come down to asskissing, which does suck, but nobody is denying that.

If you consider alienating others and potentially hurting their feelings by hosting these weighted "awards" fun. They're not going to come right out and say it, in fear of being labeled a cry-baby.

It is the OTF. It's also the KMC. Community. Remember the community.

Playing favorites is what drove me away from the staff here in the first place.

I haven't been named once and my feelings aren't hurt in the least.

Half the people saying these awards are great are the same people who say we shouldn't hate 05ers and 06ers because they're new. How are they ever meant to feel welcome if certain members are clearly dedicated to turning this community into an exclusive cult where outsiders aren't welcome?

Actually, i was amking a thread in The Suggestion Forum, But Conicdering the "thread Started Detector" it Wasn't created, So I I PMed raz about a suggestion that Disapproves bad behaviour, and encourages good behaviour.

First of all There is no "Worst" category on here. And if they aren't mature enough to handle not winning something, than they just aren't mature enough to go on these forums at all IMO.

And I think we should stop this arguement while we can. The Thread was running rather swimmingly until you brought that up.

Well, there never used to be an 'anti-new member' thing on here, it only started in the past year. And I hate it, and think it to be ridiculous.

But awards like these really don't harm anything, they're silly and ultimately meaningless. Definitely not anything to be making a big deal over.

Like I said, Cine obviously has a different "problem" with them than I do. Personally I think he's right in the sense, not that feelings will be hurt, but it being a community.

It's not exactly welcoming to new members when half of the OTF hate them anyway and the other half have cliques. It's a bit too High School around the OTF.

No, that's actually not it entirel, Snoop. It's mostly to do with this current anti-new member phase.

Hey, ask those who knew me when I joined, I was one of the intelligent newbies because I've been on message boards before.
