I can't speak for everyone, but my experience...it hurt like a son of a b!tch. Went too fast and my ear wasn't ready, ended up ripping the hole a little bit so now I have a bit of scarring inside the hole. Everytime I insert my earring it hurts again.

This only happens when you gauge your ears...aka make the hole bigger. Plus my ears haven't had the time to adjust to the larger earrings yet. I have to take them out each day for work, so the holes never get to get used to the larger ring.

14 doesnt look too bad...how do you get the hole to be bigger. do you just put in a bigger ring or do you have to stretch it out?

you get the next size up and push that through. But you have to wait until the first one you put in before was healed and comfortable

if you go at a fast pace it will crack the skin around your ears so it looks like little stretchmarks and/or carvings

w00t! I bought 12s today and they slipped right in theyre cool, im giving one of my 14s to a friend of mine so he can have a lip ring with balls cause he looses them all the time. but i have the other one in my left ear in the second piercing.
