How the Hell????

For all who dont know, read this thread. http://www.killermovies.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=380974

But anyway, How the hell....My cousin Justin has NINE tumors in his lungs. Come on, his Lungs! Your lungs are an essential, and even small part of your body. It started out in his freaking right arm. I just dont get it 🙁

Fair enough, and I'm sorry for him...but why did you make another thread just to link to the original thread?

Well Cancer is a very messy thing.

I already know. I have a thread in the GDF about cancer. I told everyone here on KMC about my little cousin who was diagnosed with cancer before her first birthday. She died shortly after her second birthday.

Because the thread was already outdated and I had already posted in it last.

I have no idea, really. Cancer is such a ...I dont know how to explain it, secret thing. It started out in his arm, and I heard it's popping up all over his body now 😬
The type of cancer is Rhabdomyoscaroma.

Hmmmm....

Oh dear , from what I just read your cousin's chances are very very poor. That is a really aggressive form of cancer.

It makes sence that it spread quickly to his lungs and from the nature of the cancer I'm not overly surprised at the amount of tumours found. The cancer forms in oxygen rich muscle cells, so it will show up anywhere.

I really wish your family well and that they get through this. But their descision to not tell your cousin that he is terminal is very very wrong. He will be disaapointed to learn that, but the joy and strength your family will get from seeing him fight and strive to squeeze everything there is from life will FAR surpass the need to protect him.

Besides I am sure that he knows what is going on anyway.

Well, yes, everyone knows his chances are very low. He's already bed-ridden as well.

And that decicion was made a while ago, so he already knows anyway.

hmmmm

The best way to understand what is happening is to do some research. The internet is the best research tool there is, use it.

ONce you understand a problem, its much much easier to deal with. In cases like this ignorance is not bliss.

All i can tell you is to enjoy your time with your cousin( if he pulls through, then wonderful) but if not, at least you know that you will have enough memories of him to last your lifetime.

Yeah. I think I tried doing some research on Rhabdomyosarcoma, I found some, but nothing much. About a few pages full. And I had already heard it all while I was at a hospital visit back in 2005.
But anyway, Thanks. 🙂

ANytime hun
