I heard that these guys were around since the Crusades or something and that there are secret markings on American 1$ bills. I also heard that these guys are supposed to be satanists and that many of the world's most powerful men are/were members or are affiliated with them, and that a major enemy of these weirdoes is the Catholic Church (especially that pope that just died, the one whose name I can't remember. Plus I heard that when somebody tried to assassinate him in the 80's that "somebody" was working for the Illuminati). And I also heard (yeah, I got all this from TV, lol) that they're trying to make a new world order world government thingy that will involve removing the individual independent governments of all the world's countries. So just what's the deal with these guys? What's going on?

a few motnhs ao i watched an indepth documentary on ther history channel on those secret sects, and who were memebers today. and it showed that Bush tony blair and a few wotld leaders have ties to thse types of organizations

I don't know, I can't help but laugh at the concepts of secret cults sometimes. The operative word is "secret" yet every man, his dog, and his dogs fleas knows about them, what they are, and what they are planning.

I mean, you saw it on TV? Where is the secret in that? And remember, satanists doesn't necessarily mean worshipping the devil - that's often a misconception.

It does make me chuckle.

There is a lot of discussion at the meetings which have no purpose but to create a feeling of importance but there is an up side, Economic success and social status!

I also looked behind the journalism of Greg Szymanski (author of the article deano put the link up for) and this man has never footnoted any information or let his readers know where this information is available. If he is actually getting it from somewhere (instead of making it up) why wouldn't he back up his claims and stories?

I think this area is a little touch and go.. I would believe that alot of the govenments have special meatings to talk open handly about things.

I watched the illuminati doc.. I was half way towards believeing most of it "could" be true... Then they tried to convince me they were possesed.. And in the rite of joinning, your body gets taken over by evil spirits..

A that point I realised why the govenments don't bother to keep these people under wraps..
