From NJO. The New Essential Guide to Characters says Kyp Durron is second strongest jedi at this time (behind Luke). At the age of three Jacen saved Luke from Exar Kun. Katarn was the New Jedi order's what? Battle strategist and lightsaber instructor, right? So who wins? Fight is on Mustafar.

Kyp would pwn them. The only person who could really challenge Kyp is Corran Horn. Kyle would give him a hard time, but would be solidly beaten. Jacen doesn't get really strong until his 5 year journey-thing after NJO.

Kyp still wins, unless Jacen can stay back and let Corran and Kyp go at eachother, which is probable because they dislike eachother a lot.
