Maybe, I never am. Its hard to get a connection that doesn't involve a security access password.

Always try leaving the useername empty and just typing in "admin" for the password.

You must really have a terrible connection... the only thing that's slowing me down is the typing, which I can do pretty well, and the 32 MB stock card that came with it, my 1GB stick is on order. Other than that, I have broadband speed on it... maybe invest in a wireless router, if the other access points are too slow?
