I'll say no preparation. But why do you say that it might be unfair for Batman giving it's in an environment he is use to and well suited for?

If there's no prep then Bats can't do what he does best and prepare.

otherwise War machine flies up and unleashes on the whole area. Or just shoots him full of missiles from the ground.


If there were prep it would be a bit more even. at least a day or two to for bats to figure out something.

War Machine-James Rhodes possesses average intelligence and is a highly skilled pilot and hand to hand combatant with military training.

maybe give bat his batarmor suit thingy. then it can be like a battle of robotic titans even though war machine would probably still take it.

poor batman, well i'll say bats, only because he is one of my favorite hero's.

The War Machine wins.

War Machine's arsenal is too great. Batman needs not only time to prep, but also time to reconsider fighting Rhodes in the first place.
